We can take on an excavation project at any point of the process:

1. Clearing vacant land - Art & Sons Excavating will start by clearly marking the utilities on the property, making way for the engineer to stake and mark out the layout for the proposed building.
2. Once the land is cleared, the basement excavation can begin. Proper elevation for the basement floor is established, and the utilities are found and prepared to be connected to the new structure. The basement foundation prep is done with our excavator. The footings and basement walls are then put in, and then we come back in to backfill the holes around the foundation walls with our dozer.
3. After the building structure is up and siding and drywall is delivered, a rough grade is completed to prepare for driveway and sidewalk installation as well as setup and grade for drainage of the yard.
4. After the sidewalk and driveways are installed, a final grade is done to eliminate any tracks and inconsistencies in the yard.
